RAINMAKER

39”h x 23”w x 10.5”d edition: 25
Fritz White

Shrouded in a blanket, a Black Foot shaman screams to the thunderbird to unleash the power of his lightning and make the thunder roar across the mountains.  He wants the strength of his beliefs to roll mightily over the people.  He urges the gods to show themselves, show their power and bind the people even more tightly to ways of mystery.

His bonnet is of ermine tails and the horns are split and glued buffalo horns.  His spirit staff is also wrapped in ermine and as the wind rushes around him, he commands the lightning to strike.
